Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds, reefers) for local deliveries within 75-mile radius
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts)
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Complete digital delivery documentation and proof-of-service forms
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Knowledge of Louisiana roadways and DOT regulations
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital documentation
- Strong communication and time-management skills
