Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques to ensure cargo security.
- Verify delivery accuracy and obtain necessary customer signatures.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized driving environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) on file.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills for handling payments and invoices.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
