Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods within the Milwaukee metro area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle maintenance compliance
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and route logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Minimize fuel consumption through efficient route planning
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of Milwaukee-area navigation systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
