Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local/regional deliveries in the Miami metro area
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and route optimization standards
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for real-time load tracking and delivery updates
- Maintain accurate logs, manifests, and delivery documentation for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and issue resolution
- Collaborate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading procedures
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with current endorsements (Hazmat a plus)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Florida roadways, weather conditions, and traffic patterns
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak seasons as needed
- Pass DOT physical examination and drug screening requirements
