Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver cargo to designated locations in Memphis and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate daily logs (DOT compliant) and ensure all vehicle inspections are completed before and after each shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies to ensure a secure work environment.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Keep the vehicle clean, organized, and in good mechanical condition.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and reliability.
