Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles for local delivery routes within the Memphis metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all Tennessee state traffic laws
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and time management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Memphis metropolitan area roadways
- Basic cargo handling skills and equipment operation experience
- Excellent time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed (typically 20-30 hours/week)
- High school diploma or equivalent required
