Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adapt to dynamic delivery routes and time-sensitive schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Uphold strict safety standards and company policies
- Represent Bluegrass Transport Solutions professionally with clients
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisville metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
