Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for local delivery routes within Los Angeles County
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse personnel
- Manage delivery documentation and proof-of-delivery systems
- Utilize GPS navigation for efficient route planning and time management
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in California
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Los Angeles metro area geography
- Basic computer skills for digital documentation
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Strong time management and customer service orientation
