Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing and handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and adhere to all DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pick-up interactions.
- Communicate any delays or issues with the dispatch team immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong knowledge of Long Beach and surrounding Southern California routes.
