Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers, clients, and team members at delivery sites.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks, such as checking tire pressure and fluid levels.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
