Job Overview:
As a Part-Time CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods to various locations. You will work closely with our dispatch team to ensure routes are completed efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely load and unload cargo using proper equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation as required by DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks during stops.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT card).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
