Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and techniques, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery paperwork, and mileage records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Adhere to strict time schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
