Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on local delivery routes within Ohio.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently using basic lifting equipment.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and verify delivery addresses.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 1 year of driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clear driving record with no major violations (DUI, Reckless Driving, etc.).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail.
