Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and complete all required paperwork (DVIR, delivery receipts).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Ensure the security of the cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT card.
- Clean driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail for documentation.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods.
