Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles in compliance with all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Verify delivery quantities and condition against shipping documents.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and daily mileage records as required by DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients at delivery points.
- Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT) available for inspection.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift and handle packages weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
