Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation for all shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and timely deliveries
- Assist with basic cargo handling and securing according to industry standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Jacksonville area geography and major highways
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Flexible availability including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
