Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring cargo security and proper documentation.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DOT compliant).
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle and cargo area at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Complete daily logbooks and delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL license (with required endorsements).
- Current, valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to handle minor roadside issues.
- Strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service.
