Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks or straight trucks) on local and regional routes
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs
- Load/unload freight with proper material handling techniques
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Familiarity with Indianapolis metro area navigation
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement procedures
