Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans to transport goods to designated delivery points.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo, verifying inventory and ensuring proper securement.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Interact professionally with customers and communicate effectively with dispatch.
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work part-time hours, including nights and weekends.
