Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently within Philadelphia metro area
- Load/unload cargo with proper lifting techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and vehicle inspection logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse teams
- Manage time-sensitive routes with GPS navigation systems
- Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and minor maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable CDL driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Philadelphia area roadways and traffic patterns
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
- Strong time management and customer service skills
