Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within Kansas City metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Transport diverse freight including dry van, refrigerated, and flatbed
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Kansas City metro routes and infrastructure
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
