Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes in Illinois and surrounding areas.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using proper techniques and forklifts, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a valid medical card.
- Valid CDL with appropriate endorsements (Tanker or Hazmat may be required).
- Must possess a clean driving record and pass a background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
