Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper safety procedures and equipment.
- Complete all necessary paperwork, including delivery receipts and electronic logbooks.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the assigned vehicle.
- Adhere to strict safety standards to ensure the safety of cargo and the public.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and vehicle maintenance.
- Previous driving experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidates.
