Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently over designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secure and properly stowed.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR) and comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Inspect vehicle condition prior to and after trips to identify any mechanical issues.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold our company's high standards of safety and professionalism at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform pre-trip inspections.
