Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vans within the El Paso area and surrounding regions.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, adhering to weight restrictions and safety guidelines.
- Maintain accurate logs, delivery receipts, and mileage records.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays or route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT Medical Card and Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
- Clean driving record with no more than one moving violation in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maneuver cargo safely.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation and mobile communication devices.
- Strong commitment to safety and punctuality.
