Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B CDL) to transport goods
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage delivery documentation and route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain accurate logbooks and compliance records
- Collaborate with dispatch team for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable driving experience
- Clean MVR and satisfactory background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Michigan roadways and traffic laws
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings/weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
