Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within Texas and surrounding states
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight while maintaining strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to guarantee vehicle safety and compliance
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Maintain clean driving record and report any maintenance issues promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and schedule adherence
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Flexible availability including early mornings and weekends
