Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) for local deliveries and short-haul routes
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery records and route documentation
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and report vehicle maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Virginia Beach metro area and surrounding regions
- DOT medical card and required certifications
- Excellent time management and communication skills
