Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections according to DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo using proper material handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Provide exceptional customer service to shippers and receivers at each stop.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Basic knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
- Willingness to submit to a background check.
