Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely across Boston metro and Florida corridors
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document transport details and handle paperwork accurately
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve delivery challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of Boston/Florida geography and traffic patterns
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
