Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to deliver goods across Boston and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and time management
- Handle loading/unloading of cargo with proper equipment and techniques
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with Boston metropolitan area and local traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- DOT medical certification and required endorsements
- Background check and drug screening clearance
