Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring weight distribution and securing freight properly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage logs and delivery receipts.
- Interact professionally with customers, vendors, and other drivers.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Good driving record with no more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
