Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently along designated local routes in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety and timely delivery to customers.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation, including electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery receipts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients and dispatchers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Current Medical Card and DOT Physical on file.
- Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform manual labor tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
