Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) within Albuquerque metro area and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling and weight distribution protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Albuquerque area streets and regional highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility for evening/weekend shifts (20-30 hours/week)
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logging
