Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Nashville metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation and inventory tracking
- Maintain strict adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Manage delivery routes efficiently to meet time-sensitive schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficient with basic navigation technology (GPS, mobile apps)
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
