Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy machinery on job sites
- Transport construction materials (gravel, sand, asphalt) to designated locations
- Pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Complete daily delivery logs and safety reports
- Adapt to varying weather and terrain conditions
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- DOT medical certification and physical fitness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Knowledge of local Wichita/Kansas routes and construction sites
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to safety protocols
