Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across Georgia and Florida
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Georgia/Florida road networks
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
