Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across Miami-Dade County
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and pre/post-trip safety documentation
- Maintain precise delivery schedules using GPS routing technology
- Secure and unload freight with proper handling procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete electronic logging system (ELD) documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Miami metropolitan area geography
- Pass background check and drug screening
- DOT medical certification current
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for communication apps
