Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement and weight distribution.
- Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and mileage (EOBR compliance).
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel.
- Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (e.g., Hazmat, Tanker).
- Valid DOT medical card and DOT physical examination.
- Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and perform physical labor.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
