Responsibilities
- Safely transport freight across Texas and regional routes using modern, well-maintained equipment
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding delivery status
- Operate advanced telematics systems for route optimization and performance tracking
- Collaborate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain clean driving record and represent company values in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong understanding of hazmat handling (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication standards
- Willingness to adapt to changing delivery routes and schedules
