Job Overview
We are looking for reliable drivers to transport goods across California and neighboring states. Your role will be critical in ensuring our customers receive their freight on time and in perfect condition.Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Uphold our high standards of safety and professional conduct at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B required (hazmat or tanker endorsements are a plus).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
