Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A or B) on assigned routes from Philadelphia, PA to North Carolina.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and logkeeping (ELD).
- Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance while adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods to maintain high customer satisfaction scores.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable truck driving experience preferred.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts and weekends as required.
- Strong understanding of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety standards.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
