Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods within Arizona
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation to meet delivery deadlines
- Load/unload cargo with proper securing techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Report mechanical issues and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license (Class A or B) with current medical certification
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Arizona roadways and delivery zones
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical ability to handle cargo up to 70 lbs
- Experience with refrigerated transport a plus
