Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) to transport goods across Bay Area routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure timely arrivals using GPS navigation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load adjustments
- Secure cargo properly and handle specialized deliveries with care
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and operate manual transmission
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- DOT medical certification and current TWIC card preferred
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
