Responsibilities
- Safe operation of commercial vehicles (Class A/B) for local deliveries within Chicago metro area
- Efficient loading/unloading of freight using pallet jacks and dollies
- Strict adherence to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintaining accurate delivery logs and route documentation
- Timely communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and delays
- Vehicle pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
