Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A/B commercial vehicles to transport freight on local/regional routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate delivery documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route changes or delays
- Assist with basic freight handling and securement procedures
- Maintain clean driving record and vehicle maintenance logs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Louisville metro area and surrounding Kentucky routes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging device (ELD) usage
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to/from depot location
