Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (box trucks, flatbeds) for local deliveries within the Chicago metropolitan area
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong knowledge of Chicago area roadways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Excellent communication and time management skills
