Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on assigned routes throughout the Seattle metro area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all items are secured properly and safely.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the delivery truck.
- Interact professionally with customers and resolve delivery issues with a smile.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Complete daily logbooks and vehicle inspection reports accurately.
- Deliver exceptional service while meeting time-sensitive deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with necessary endorsements.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical) on file.
- A clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Physically capable of lifting and carrying packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to navigate unfamiliar routes.
- Basic computer literacy for logging delivery information.
