Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork (BOL, POD).
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients at delivery sites.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
- Previous experience in freight or delivery driving is preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and tire care.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Strong communication skills and time management abilities.
