Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles on designated local routes within the Mesa area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
- Interact professionally with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle returns or complaints efficiently.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and electronic logging device (ELD) entries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the required endorsements (e.g., Tanker, Hazmat).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations in the last 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
